Chapel Hill 2019: Charlottesville, Virginia

Chapel Hill was deeply entrenched due to increased runoff from upstream parking lot and apartment construction. The design plan called for fill to be brought in to raise the stream to the original grade. Fill sediments were coordinated with another nearby stream project that removed excess fill. Habitat and structures to prevent downcutting were installed.
